RICHARDS SPUR LLISTROFUS PRICEI

Microsauria-Hapsidopareiontidae

References

Carroll (1980) described Llistrofus pricei on the basis of a single partial skeleton from Richards Spur. Llistrofus vertebrae are almost indistinguishable from the ones of Hapsidopareion, and are quite different from the ones of the other Richards Spur lepospondyls or amniotes. Contrary to their vertebrae, hapsidopareiontid vertebrae have paired arches and distinct neurocentral suture, and the base of the pedicle of the arch extends the full length of the centrum. there are no intercentra.
