Above: pictures of a Pterygoid, in ventral view, that could belong to an araeoscelid diapsid for the presence of an anterolaterally directed transverse flange, this flange, as in Petrolacosaurus is covered by a large number of irregularly arranged teeth of various sizes, contrary to  Petrolacosaurus, no other teeth or denticles are present on the rest of the ventral surface of the bone.
