Delorhyncus priscus is known only from few maxillae  lateraly sculptured and characterized by the presence of a lateral opening of a presumed nasomaxillary canal, the plane of narial rim is oblique to the lateral surface of maxilla. The teeth are striated particularly near the base. From Richards Spur (Dolese Quarry), Comanche Co. Oklahoma. Lower Permian.
