 Above: pictures in lateral and medial view of a maxillary fragment of  Colobomycter Pholeter an acleistorhinid parareptile once considered an eothyridid, it is characterized by the position of the largest maxillary tooth that is far anteriorly on the alveolar margin, ornamentation of the dermal skull elements with a diffuse pattern of small circular dimples, a  large anterolateral maxillary foramen. This large maxillary foramen is the lateral opening of a naso-maxillary canal (LON) that has also a medial opening (MON). From Richards Spur (Dolese Quarry), Comanche Co. - Oklahoma.  Lower Permian
