Acerosodontosaurus Piveteaui is a basal Younginiform of Madagascar, described by P. J . Currie, it differs from Thadeosaurus and Hovasaurus in having a pubis ventromedially extended and emarginated for, perhaps, incipient thyroid fenestra and distal carpal 4 not in contact with medial centrale.
