 Lepospondyli- Microsauria-Gymnarthridae

References

Euryodus primus is a large gymnarthrid microsaur characterized by the presence of a single maxillary tooth larger than the remaining teeth, contrary to Cardiocephalus, the teeth are round in the cross section including the tips and fluted on all the sides. The dentary has a very high coronoid process with well developed recess for masseteric  musculature. The vertebrae show no trace of neurocentral sutures , they have a wide neural arch with very low neural spine, the articulating surfaces of zygapophyses are nearly flat.
