CARDIOCEPHALUS PEABODYI Lepospondyli- Microsauria-Gymnarthridae
Cardiocephalus Peabodyi was described by Carroll (1978) on the basis of an almost complete skeleton, two skulls and disarticulated material from Fort Sill(Richards Spur)-Dolese Quarry, Comanche Co. Oklahoma. Lower Permian. In none of the three skulls the palate and the occiput was exposed for detailed description.
